Yellowjacket wasps are
aggressive, and if provoked, they can sting repeatedly and painfully.
They build their nests during the summer, among vegetation in gardens
and fields, especially if there is a nearby water source.
The Cyprus hornet, locally known as "Sfikas" are active in hot weather
and have a powerful sting. They don't shy away from people, often
invading their barbecues in search of a meal. If threatened, they will
call for reinforcements and a swarm of hornets will attack.
We can control stinging insects by smoking them and removing their nests from your property.
